Scholarships for students

We award scholarships to students. In addition to tuition fees, the scholarship covers accommodation in a student residence and a monthly living allowance. It also covers some additional expenses such as costs for excursions, travel expenses for university internships, course materials, and the cost of copying and binding theses. Each student receives a used laptop. Talent or outstanding academic achievements are not our primary selection criteria. Rather, we focus on the potential for change our scholarship recipients can bring about, on the improved life prospects for their future. They come from very disadvantaged backgrounds, from poverty-driven environments with limited access to education, often from broken and dysfunctional families. Our scholarship recipients are driven by the desire to overcome their socio-economic challenges and lead self-determined lives. We know all of our scholarship recipients personally.
