Education for children and young adults in Ghana and Namibia

Scholarships for Schoolchildren

Currently, the initiative for Africa also supports nine schoolchildren. These are children from precarious socioeconomic backgrounds, children with traumatic and exploitative experiences, or children from families affected by addiction. We also support a particularly gifted and highly talented boy from our computer school so that he can attend a semi-private, higher-quality school.
We have a pair of siblings from a single mother who is severely addicted. Johnson and Confidence were rescued from child slavery at Lake Volta and now attend a boarding school with specialized psychosocial support. Robert is the child of divorced, impoverished parents. Angelo is an orphan from the San people in Namibia. He attends a boarding school. Larisa and Gordon are children whose parents are stretched to their financial limits by the costs of attending school. Registration fees, school uniforms, textbooks, and learning materials must be provided. When these expenses apply to five or six siblings, one or more may have to stay home for a year.
